Ashley Otterbine joined the iCare team in August 2017 and played an integral role in launching the Fort Worth location as Office Manager. Through her leadership and deep operational knowledge, she has grown into her current role as Director of Patient Access, where she oversees front office operations across all locations. Ashley is responsible for ensuring efficient workflows, exceptional patient experiences, and strong alignment between patient access, clinical teams, and revenue cycle operations.
Education & Background
Ashley began her healthcare journey in high school at West Sound Technical Skills Center in Bremerton, Washington, where she trained as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. She later earned her Associate’s degree from Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas. Her diverse background includes experience as an emergency room scribe and managing an orthopedic practice, giving her a well-rounded understanding of both clinical and administrative healthcare operations.
Personal
Raised in a military family, Ashley lived in six different states before settling in Texas in 2008. She has been with her husband, Chris, for over 16 years, and together they have two daughters. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys reading, writing, and spending quality time with her family, often playing board and card games together.
