  • Will I ever unknowingly be considered an ER patient without consent?

    No, at iCare we believe in total transparency. We provide a free medical screening with a doctor before your are billed anything so that there are no surprises. Additionally, you can review our systematic ER vs Urgent Care list here.

  • Which insurance companies does iCare work with?

    iCare Urgent Care is in-network with many major insurance plans and private insurance plans. Additionally, if you do not have insurance you can ask for details on paying out-of-pocket and we will be happy to assist you.

  • Will my insurance cover medical services?

    Most insurance policies cover services in either an emergency room or an urgent care center. Coverage varies depending on the details of your plan. Our billing department will assist with paperwork and claim filings for private insurance companies, as well as Medicaid and Medicare.

  • Are urgent care services expensive?

    The cost of visiting an urgent care is comparable to the price of visiting a primary care physician. One of the benefits of choosing an urgent care over a standard doctor’s office is that diagnostics and testing are available under one roof.

  • How long will I need to wait?

    Wait times depend on a variety of factors, including the severity or urgency of your medical condition. It can also depend on the number of patients in the queue that need care. On average you’ll wait about 1-3 minutes.

  • Do I need to schedule an appointment?

    If urgent care services are needed, you can avoid wait times by contacting us in advance to schedule an appointment. However, walk-ins are welcome. If you have an emergency situation, skip the online booking process, and come directly to our nearest location.

  • What are the hours at iCare ER and Urgent Care?

    Our Urgent Care offices are open from 7:00 am – 8:00 pm daily. The emergency room is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


  • What is the difference between the urgent care and ER services?

    The emergency room is designed to provide immediate care for a variety of health conditions. On the other hand, urgent care is available for medical conditions that don’t pose a serious, immediate threat to your life or health. Wait times and pricing schedules vary depending on the location and unit that you visit. A no-cost screening allows you to provide consent before care is administered.

  • Should I visit an emergency room or urgent care?

    If your medical condition is life-threatening, it is vital that you go to the nearest emergency room or call 911. When you come to iCare ER and Urgent Care, we offer a free initial consultation to determine if emergency or urgent care services are required.

  • What urgent care services are available?

    Doctors and nurses in the urgent care center can help with a variety of services: sore throat, rashes, earache, congestion, cough, medication refill, rashes, mild gastrointestinal pain, flu, insect stings, school physicals, suture removal, minor musculoskeletal injuries, and more.

    Our emergency department is experienced and equipped to help with trauma and other immediate needs, including major burns, chest pain, abdominal pain, fracture care, seizures, lacerations, drug overdose, pregnancy complications, shortness of breath, and more.
